About MWDT

Built to Turn Practical Skills Into Real Opportunity.

Monroe Workforce Development & Training LLC helps individuals and organizations strengthen the skills, confidence, and workplace capability needed to move forward.

Monroe Workforce Development & Training LLC was built around a simple belief: training should do more than sound good on paper—it should help people perform better, communicate stronger, use technology with confidence, and move closer to their professional goals.

Founded by Danielle Monroe, MWDT brings together experience in information technology, Microsoft Office instruction, professional development, education, and workforce training to create learning experiences that are practical, approachable, and relevant to today's workplace.

We serve individuals who want to build stronger career and technology skills, as well as employers and organizations that want to invest in the growth of their teams.

Our programs are designed to meet people where they are, strengthen the skills they actually use, and create a clear path toward greater confidence, productivity, and professional readiness.

Our focus is not training for training's sake. It is developing people and strengthening workplaces.

Our Belief
"People are more than their worst decision. Professional development isn't only about developing skills; sometimes it's about developing a new version of yourself."

It is never too late to start again. Whether you are rebuilding after a setback, changing careers, returning to the workforce, or simply ready to grow — your next chapter can begin today.

At Monroe Workforce Development & Training LLC, we meet people where they are. Your past does not define your future. What matters is the next step you choose to take.

It's never too late to begin.

Why Soft Skills Training Fits

Soft skills are taught as real workplace behaviors.

MWDT's professional development training is grounded in practical workplace expectations: how employees communicate, manage time, handle responsibility, serve customers, stay organized, use good judgment, and represent an organization professionally.

Danielle's instruction combines formal technology training, adult learning experience, classroom leadership, administrative and operational work, vendor and client communication, and hands-on business documentation. Her Drake College experience helped shape her ability to teach with patience, adjust to different learning styles, earn credibility with adult learners, and make professional expectations clear. Her transition after Drake College's closing and her early corporate workplace experiences also strengthened her resilience, professionalism, communication, and ability to move through challenging environments with focus. This allows MWDT to teach soft skills in a way that is practical, realistic, and immediately useful.
